crenshaw exposition transit oriented district   los angeles ca

The Crenshaw/Exposition station area is the northern terminus of the current configuration of the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Corridor. Transit users may transfer to the Exposition Line running east-west at this location. The diagonal orientation of Exposition Boulevard and the railroad ROW distinguishes itself from the city grid. The prominent geometry of the West Angeles Church dominates the Crenshaw/Exposition intersection. Both urban street walls as well as underutilized surface parking lots characterize the southern portion of the station area. Retail, commercial and industrial uses characterize Crenshaw Boulevard, as well as Jefferson Boulevard and sections of Exposition Boulevard.
